Description

There was actually a heart-shaped crystal on my Cyanide slide :la::happybounce::heart:

...somebody actually stole this slide from me =( So somebody literally stole my heart ;) But seriously, whoever stole it, you're an idiot :shakefish: Stealing is always stupid, but stealing microscope slides can be deadly. You have no idea what's on there (especially if you can't decipher my hand-writing on the slides AND I write in German, sooo) so you have no idea if you're stealing a virus or a tumor or, like in this case, poison

You are viewing cross-polarized, birefringent Cyanide crystals, 25 times magnified, shot with a camera mounted to a microscope :la:

Part of my .abstract magnifications series, they will consist of things I have magnified and photographed with the help of a microscope. The series is not going to showcase microscopic photos in a scientific way, but rather in an abstract, artistic way. It's more about shape, colours, emotions rather than the scientific accurate showing of cell structure.

Stealing samples in a laboratory can be very dangerous and is also very difficult to use after...
But you have made a great photography :la:
