Heyyyyy love kittens!

First of HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you started 2012 with a BANG, babies!

Oh gosh, it's been sooo long. How have you all been?

I'm sooo sorry for my absence, I've been having health issues, then I went to Egpt for the holidays and then I came down with a flu, but now I'm back and kickin'!

Egypt was amaaaazing! I wish it had been a bit warmer, it was only around 20-25 degrees Celcius and when it was windy (which was unfortunately often) it grew chilly quickly. But I had such a fun time! The Egyptian people are sooo sweet and live-loving and exuberant - even those who don't have much. For instance, kids love me, lol, and whenever we visited the town there would be so many school kids coming up to me and they were all friendly and happy, although they lived in slums...I have to admit, Epytians are also set on getting married, hahaha, my boo was offered a lot of camels for me Or I asked if I had any cute sisters they could marry, lol.

Initially, my boo wanted a chill-vacation. He just wanted to lie on the beach and tan, but of course I can't have that hahaha! I'm so hyper I need to DO stuff lol. The most fun I had was when we drove into the DESERT on QUADS! Rawr! So much fun! I mean, when do you ever get the chance to just let loose and drive like a maniac through a desert, right? And we visited a Bedouin village and I wrote on a CAMEL! lol I have to admit it smelled a bit, ha ha, but it was very fluffy. And they get up and sit down really funnily. First the front goes kinda down, down to their knees, then the hind legs, then the front legs again as they curl their legs underneath their bodies, then the hind legs again - so it's front down, back down, front down, back down hahaha.

Another fun day was when we went on a trip on a glass boat from which we could see a coral reef. And later on we were allowed to snorkel in that coral reef! I loved it, it was very pretty (although I have to say the Great Barrier Reef in Australia is prettiert, but it's just sooo amazing ) and I saw a lot of cool fish and I wish my snorkerling equipment had a built-in camera hahaha and then I could have just snapped photos of what I saw. I saw a BARACUDA! It was my boo's first attempt to snorkel and the sea was rough that day so he had a bit of a problem. He had a bit of a hypothermia problem, sadly. I was the last one still in the water with the guide, haha, all the other tourists had looong called it quits (the water wasn't that warm, but hey, I'm a surferchick, I suck it uuuup, man! Plus, I was so distracted by all the pretty sea-life that it didn't really matter to me) I didn't wanna leave, lol! But the ship honked that we had to get back to the mainland. But jesus, when I returned onto the ship, my poor boo was wrapped in three blankets, holding a coffee cup in his hands and shaking like crazy Wow. I did not expect THAT to happen. But he still looks back at the snorkeling trip fondly, I'm glad of that.

Anyways, I am sure I shall return to Egypt again! I am faaar from being done seeing their rich culture and history!
