Opulence (GCDD)

(Hello, hello, hello!
I've been MIA and have last uploaded a photo in April (ongoing health issues, to read more, see this journal entry), but I intend to come back with a bang, as I wait for my medical status to be cleared. And honestly, I can't do a lot of activities at the moment, because of my health.)

...So.
I present to you the first work of my Gold is Cold, Diamonds are Dead series (short GCDD and yes, I've thought about the various ways to abbreviate this ): Opulence

Few people on this earth live in abundance, while the majority has nothing.
And few people own most of the world, while the majority owns little. It's an unfair balance.

The entire series is going to have a very soft feel about it, so I will intentionally adjust my camera so there will be more intentional blur in it than there are in my other works.

I think the concept behind the series is quite self-explanatory, stay tuned for some golden, dazzling, glistening, decadent, pompous or even delicate trinkets, jewellery and other little surprises

The series' theme is of course inspired by the J'adore Dior perfume ad lines:

'Gold is cold, Diamonds are dead, a Limousine is a car, don’t pretend, feel what’s real.'
